- QotD: Do you have a favorite fae creature? Hola readers! Hey all, how about a quick update. Just did a pitch event last week, and as usual, I garnered interest from readers, but no agent likes. I even introduced Project Butterfly. 🧵/1
- 🧵/2 7 chapters have been outlined so far and I've started to seek out book agents for Of Magic and Grief. Things are definitely growing harder, but hopefully the excitement of a new story keeps me going 🤞🏼

- #WIPPitStickyNoteQuestions For a fae, like Princess Ivelisse, it's iron. With one touch it can very much burn her skin, canceling her magic and not being able to heal it away once she's burned by the metal.
- #WIPPitStickyNoteQuestions For Miguel it might be bringing up his now deceased mom. Magic can hurt, but grief hurts even deeper.
- #WIPPitStickyNoteQuestions For Miguel it's cracking open some of his favorite books, like Cemetery Boys and Bloody Spade. If his cousin is around, he'd turn on his PlayStation and play a game together, like Lies of P or Final Fantasy 16.

- #WIPPITStickyNoteQuestions Project Butterfly was actually inspired by the cartoon Winx. Taking the oc I drew, I redesigned her & instead gave her a story that's Romeo & Juliet meets Fae Fantasy minus the tragic ending, but also adding inspiration from Taíno Mythology 😊
- #WIPPITStickyNoteQuestions Several factors. Of Magic and Grief was inspired by the Burn It All Down LoL music video. Setting it in the urban fantasy genre, I also added inspiration from the Taíno Mythology, Puerto Rican culture, and the magic system from Final fantasy 14 😁🙌🏼
- Miguel goes out to the beach with his family every now and then, but he prefers to stay in and read all things fantasy, unless his cousin is around, then the two play video games together 😊
- The book I'm currently querying starts in the late summer and goes all the way to the start of the next. Why? Because this is a YA Urban Fantasy that takes place in a hidden magical school 😁🙌🏼

It'll be a YA Fantasy Romance/Romantasy that's Romeo and Juliet meets Fae Fantasy minus the tragic ending. Very important that I state that lol. 🧵/1
- 🧵/2 The 2 protagonists are Princess Ivelisse Arcoíris, a rainbow fae, & Prince Mirek Gullhrafn, a human. I've only outlined 2ch so far, but it will be a slow burn enemies to lovers story, & a standalone. Hopefully book agents will like it enough to represent it. Wish me luck 🤞🏼
