There are no tariffs being put on Russia. Hmmm

Doesn’t want to upset his idol
According to this observation captured by James, and using 2021 pre-invasion/pre-sanctions figures:
Russian exports to the U.S.: 29.7bn
Trade deficit: 23.3bn
23.3/29.7=0.785
Missing a 78.5% tariff here on Russia, me thinks. No?
And, look, we still imported 3bn in goods in 2024. So...
You SHOULD know.this.already, but "Following Trump's Rose Garden announcement, a White House official told NOTUS' Jasmine Wright that Russia is "not on this list because sanctions from the Ukraine war have already rendered trade between the two countries as zero."...Newsweek
Trump has agreed to import Potash from RUSSIA instead of CANADA! He is funding the was against Ukraine. The threat is coming from the highest office of the USA!
They have nothing to offer. I mean would you want to buy anything from Putin’s playhouse?
Do we get anything from Russia though?
The point of the tariffs is to disconnect America's economy from other democracies gradually. It's a soft landing for the sanctions they'll implement in response to what Trump's planning.
Russia already gave Trump a presidency...
