- The key holding is that Judge Haines was unwilling to look under the hood of Trump's AEA proclamation as to TdA; she deferred to its assertions as facially sufficient. But I can't help but flag her FN to a citation to Samuel Johnson's 1773 dictionary, which reads like an unprovoked anti-DOGE jab.

- This judge, while a Trump appointee, was a career federal prosecutor with no particular ideological markers.

- 40 years ago today, my City's government dropped a bomb on a residential neighborhood and decided to let the fire burn for almost two hours, killing 5 adults and 6 children. No city official was criminally charged. Bones from burned children were used in Penn classes. It will never make any sense.
