“If we give Kemi another year it could be curtains for us. There are no policies, no ideas, no strategy and she has no charisma"

Tory MPs to meet to discuss ousting Kemi Badenoch ‘before it is too late’
Exclusive: After disastrous local elections, many Tory MPs have concluded that Badenoch cannot lead them into the next general election
May 6, 2025 07:56You can't out-racist Farage, so why even try?
The trouble is, under Johnson, they ditched all the intelligent, competent people who might be able to lead. Now they have no-one capable of doing the job.
All patently obvious when they elected her leader. Johnson stripped out all the sensible Tories and replaced them with loyal but dumb conspiracy loonies and culture warriors. I don't see a path back to normality for them. Why would anyone sensible stand as a candidate for them?
"Before it's too late!"
she’s a disaster - always was always will be - the Tories have no future until EVERYONE IN THE JOHNSON ADMINISTRATION ARE REMOVED - all the liars , cheats, charlatans and chancers and all their associates are out of politics for good - anything less will see their continued descent into irrelevance
Give Kemikazi another year for her performative, bloviating anti-woke nonsense, her scurrilous PMQ non-sequitur attacks, her lack of policies, humour, & total absence of self-awareness, and her cozying up to Trumpists, so that the Conservatives well and truly screw any hope of ever being re-elected.
Small pool of MPs. Next leader should get by with just a handful of votes🤣🤣
Unfortunately some of these same traits can be applied to Keir Starmer. No wonder Farage did so well in the local elections and by-election.
“What this situation needs is another wild jerk to the right. And no-one does jerking quite like Robert Jenrick” a Tory Party spokesperson said (probably)
Who else though? 🤷♂️
Yeah, she’s not up to the job but when “grandee bill cash” is unironic, your problems are much bigger than simply changing leader.
Skinhead ozempic Jenrick is rubbing his grubby hands together with delight….
That description could be applied to several Conservative leaders....
But she can start a fight in an empty room, and I thought that's the skill they elected her for? Otherwise they've elected leaders for lying, being rich and being compared to a lettuce, so at least they tried with this one. 😁
Keep up - the Good Work
She has much the same charisma as being punched in the face by Mike Tyson.
Oh dear....
In that case, sign a 2 year contract please!
That's unfair as Kemi's following the same Tory strategy since Cameron resigned; 'What would Nigel say?'
Could have told them that before they voted for her.
Didn’t - because it’s been quite funny watching her being outwitted, outgunned and outmanoeuvred every week at PMQs. And helping dig the Tory hole bigger in the process.
Nobody will notice when she's gone.
Deck chairs and the Titanic springs to mind
A core problem for them is that, unless they manipulate the vote again (& I don't there's enough of a consensus to do so), the people who do the removals are a different group who do the selections. Even if they avoid replacing Badenoch with the equally absurd Jenrick what other talent is there?
Why did they vote for her ?
