- Just learnt that the almost 25 year old Libqual+ is being discontinued. Really interesting to see what will happen. The survey IMHO is aging badly but they have unmatched rich data to benchmark against (you can see every single institution who ever did libqual back to 2000)..... (1)
- The difficulty these days to doing Machine learning tasks (or doing "ai") such as clustering and classification is not so much technical difficulty but the manyvways you could do it. Here's a recent case. For context my team has immediate level python coders but nobody is officially ML trained(1)
- Very nice. More details compared to the last time I looked at it. It focuses more on general web search Google, Perplexity, ChatGPT than what I focus on ‐ academic search + specialised index but still a fair and accessible representation of the issues.
