- hello! I have made a bot that posts an image from a random google streetview location once every few hours. It is here: @randomstreetview.bsky.social i have a version of this on the old social network (@random_places) that has been running for a decade now, but maybe i will kill it soon :(

- i am trying to make rivers but i forgot how rivers work
- now that i have the actual tiles working ok i am putting objects into the world for my bear game. too many trees!
- Now that I have world generation kind of working the way that I want I have abstracted a bunch of data to json so that I can iterate on things faster. Each tile in my grid is placed based on some parameters (currently just simplex noise) and I can easily add new types or change existing ones.
- after a bit of a break i am trying to motivate myself to work on my bear game again. wow it is beautiful

- i have never really known anything about web development but i am building a website for my kid to post his music on and it has been a Fun Adventure in Learning
- i drove by this house the other day with a turret and what looks like a machine gun in it, so i did some research to figure out what the deal is but i guess there's no story it's just a guy who put a fake machine gun in a turret on his house

- i think it is good, the last thing i am going to do now is make it sometimes spin the other way and then i am going to stop adding things so i can focus on other projects
- i am testing a thing where i generate and post videos from streetview for my bot, instead of static images. is it good or is it bad? i don't know yet
