- I'm hoping the con next week (Confuzzled) will be a good one. Hoping to feel like I have purpose again, and that the things I do matter.
- These cold, cloudy days in May take me back ten years ago to when I handed in my dissertation and finished my degree. Makes me think back through all the years between then and now.
- Finding a place to move to that's above a rare bookshop? An omen...
- Not long until Confuzzled now! It's going to be an interesting one, likely that after this year it won't be one of the main conventions I aim to go to every year.
- Curious if folks want to share some interesting but perhaps unexpected facts about themselves. For me - you may not know that while I'm big into writing, I really, really find volcanoes fascinating. I should have probably studied it at university and as a career. If I had my time again...

- Story draft is at 7k, basically been re-writing it all today. Definitely feeling it's fun writing character focused, slice of life magical realism with a dash of furry.

- Kinda wishing there wasn't a con coming up. Lots of negative headspace right now and I'm genuinely struggling to feel that anyone would want to see me there, or just in general.

- Ok, 1000 more words done today. Sometimes you just don't feel great about how it's going, but there are good days as well as bad and just got to stick to the process.
