- Next up is Reggatta de Blanc, the Police's third album. I knew Walking on the Moon and Message in a Bottle which are great and it was an interesting and varied start but the second half tailed off for me, and by the end I'd tuned out. #albums #music #pop
- Bonus album. Cooking so had time for an additional album so drew it from the Rolling Stone Top 500 list. Solange - A Seat at the Table. A superb, layered and interesting blend of soul, funk & hip-hop with strong lyrical themes including black emancipation. #album #music #pop
- Day 4 and a classic that I know a couple of songs from. This is a sound which my dad liked and I was comfortable. The lyrics whilst transgressive at the time, are fun and lift the lid on the bohemian, queer culture which Reed witnessed as part of the Factory set, all backed with proto-glam stylings
- Starting the 1001 albums to listen to before you die #music #pop #albums. Today, the first one, Talking Heads - Fear of Music. It was an uncomfortable listen, with lots of jarring themes and the raw early 80s production was a challenge but the music was interesting, and had some cool hooks.
