- Personal post: my mom has Alzheimer’s and is prone to falls. In home care costs $400/day. A memory care facility would cost $12k/month. I pay 100% out of pocket and will soon be broke. Thanks to the politicians who said we can’t have public healthcare in this country because that would be communism.
- One of liberals’ critiques of leftists is that they have no strategy for winning, because they prefer being a purist opposition and won’t engage seriously with those who don’t share their worldview. And that would be a totally valid critique if it wasn’t coming from the Democratic Party.
