- In a cutscene before the final boss battle in Luigi's Mansion 3, Peach briefly deforms by severely elongating her neck. Below is a comparison of her usual neck length and the extended neck seen in this cutscene.
- In 1994, development of Yoshi's Island briefly went through a "baby wizard" phase whereby Baby Mario was considered to be replaced by an original baby wizard character. I have compiled a timeline of Baby Mario's development based on known asset timestamps.
- In the "Boot Camp" microgame in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the character is normally the player's Mii. However, if the Mii is corrupted or otherwise unavailable, the game loads a failsafe character called OnionHeader instead.
