This tech accelerationism is training people to just do the appearance of work: a headline, art that looks almost normal from a distance, to complete things as fast as possible and move onto the next... it's dissolving humanity and culture at large
It's all compounding. Journalism being kept behind a paywall, art being absorbed no deeper than surface level, consumption as activism and morality. It's all about the appearance of competence with zero substance. It's going to completely collapse sooner than later
I dunno man! I have been out of school for a decade, I can't even fathom what it's like to have The Cheating And Lying Machine be a trusted source. I remember not being allowed to use Wikipedia as a cited source because it wasn't considered properly vetted.
