I love dogs but they posted the door camera video like this was cute or something acceptable instead of feeling guilt for how badly this could have ended for their dogs had they chased a scent or something else as a pack. The neighbor who alerted them was right to carry her dog for various reasons

you hear barking outside the house + dont see them in the house
i think the post says they only check their front door
didnt see them
decided essentially all is well
until a neighbor alerts them that their dogs are out 🤯

May 6, 2025 23:19my dog is reactive and not always friendly so every time we run into an (illegally) offleash or accidental escapee scenario it is SO stressful 😩 everyone is at risk! their dog, my dog, us! it sucks!!
My second dog had been used for fighting. He was fine with the other dogs in house, but on walks he had to be on 12” traffic lead right by my side. Absolute unit of reactivity. I had a process with him for dealing with it, but if multiple off leash dogs approached him it would be so dangerous just 🤯
