  30% across the board tariffs (the current level) would be considered irresponsible under any administration, except that Trump set expectations at the absurd 145% number. Media outlets calling this a “pause” are just not being honest.

    This is the way the local paper of record sent it out yesterday morning. I go to read the details (still huge tariff even in the 90 day 'pause') and I'm like "yep we're still fucked but I guess people can pretend it'll be okay for a bit".
