- Oh, pooh. Separatism sells in Alberta; not so much in Ontario. Mr. Ford has no principles beyond an animal cunning and a blunt appreciation for "reading the room." Ms. Smith is a shock-jock whose career has already peaked; Mr. Ford is a (terrible!) thrice-elected Premier with national ambitions.
