- @msnbc.com Habeas corpus doesn't "allow" immigrants to challenge their detention. It is the tool by which ANYONE accused of a crime can exercise their rights, as per the Constitution. See the difference? Language is critical. You keep changing the meaning of laws to "conditional on" a permission.
