- If you're going to get food poisoning on vacation (don't recommend) do NOT get sick in the sink and clog it (extra don't recommend) because you're occupying the toilet. Especially when your hotel has no overnight staff and you gotta figure that out yourself at 2:30am. OK collapsing now.
- First time so far this trip not knowing German has been a problem - we had reserved seats on the train from Vienna to Salzburg, but couldn't figure out what the reservation slip said. Ended up in the wrong half of a train that we can't move between halves while it's moving. Lost our seats.
- Even at home I often have a hard time sleeping. Jet lag is absolutely fucking me up. I slept maybe 4 hours all said and done. Kendall still sound asleep. So jealous.

- The @ricksteves.bsky.social city walks in his books continue to be the best. Especially with accompanying (FREE!) audio guides. Had a great walk through Vienna this morning, then the Ringstrasse tram tour, and the Hofburg palace. Already hit 10k steps and it's only 3:30
- God today rules! Giant Bomb is BACK BABY! I'm about to board a flight for 3 weeks vacation seeing Europe by train and visiting some of my oldest friends in the world. And this British Air lounge has gummy cola bottles!
