OTD in 1920 USSR signed Treaty of of Moscow with Georgia, recognizing their independence. We invaded them 9 months later.

It was cos we didn't like their government so we decided to install one we did like, as part of us never interfering in other's internal affairs.
But the US Invaded Iraq in 2003 so this means our 1921 invasion isn't wrong as the linearity of time is imperialist.
It is a shame you could not use the 'de-nazification' reason in 1921 as it sounds much better than 'we did not like their government'.

Debourgeoisation worked just fine. Freeing the workers and farmers from the oppression of contrarevolutionary reactionary forces and of the right to travel, poses property and chose a government is as good a reason as any.
