May 7, 2025 03:23A friend's dad wrote a great but middling sci fi movie in 85 and just kind of lived on that for the rest of his life. There was some composer of a movie score that just turned to field recordings after.
That's the part that feels the most frustrating. I can't even argue that previous generations of creators got paid their worth...
