Bull thesis: everyone hates Tesla’s brand so car sales are down but people will buy home robots they don’t need from the same brand
May 7, 2025 14:05Nope. I don't want no sieg heiling Nazi robot in my frigging home!
Tesla market cap is 11X annual *revenue*.
For comparison, Toyota is worth about a year’s revenue.
The average American spends 10-20% of income on cars, although that counts insurance, gas, and repairs. Expecting Tesla to triple their revenue through non-automotive sales is like hoping to become a millionaire by picking up change off the sidewalk.
Sadly we have a Tesla power battery bought last year. It's very good and not easily ripped out again. So label covered up in the hope Musk will sell the business. Do feel guilty 😕
if it makes you feel any better, it's just a CATL battery from China with a Tesla badge on it
What money will people use to buy the robots when AI does all the work?
How else are you going to achieve infinite abundance, Greg?
I am sure this is how Elon and Trump bonded. Seal the border, subsidize robotics for domestic production
And at a time where other EVs are exploading and the parity between cars is not as wide as before 🤪
Don't forget the Tesla robo-taxi >> Uber robo-taxi (via Waymo/others).
