If you want to do something to help us out during this down time, please consider cleaning up your notifications! Believe it or not that does take up a lot of space and it is time for that spring cleaning!
May 4, 2025 02:23It was a good run... Nuke time.
In my defense there's not exactly a tutorial when you sign up for an account :3
I didn't know there were notifications on FA until like, a year ago. 🫠😅
I'm a good boy now though!
Meanwhile, a year ago:
My heart weeps, but it has to be done. ;__;
Never have my eyes gazed upon this notification before.
Every day, every hour, every second. They appeared. Like tiny specks of dust landing in my obsessively clean home. I scrubbed, I cleaned, I cleared. But the work was never done. Scrub, clean, clear. A maddening war against disorder.
In the end I surrendered.
And I embraced the filth.
Uhhh oops x3
Because I have a browser extension that puts notification bubbles everytime I get one, I have to clear them (is sad because they is no saved "read" notifications, but bubbles bad)
Notifications it can’t make remove from yes.
If it's such a big issue, I think most people would be alright with you nuking everyones notifications, or atleast the people that haven't been active for more than a couple of months ^^'
It'd been a little* while since I cleared this out... <_<
[Disclaimer: little in this context means years, oops]
What about people with inactive accounts who have millions of notifications?
*cough*👀💦
Tfw I know a number of people I know with over 10K subs and 1k+ comments in their notifs...
How do y'all handle it. I can't even take having one or two notifications there lmao
