May 11, 2025 20:11Like, I am a strong believer in the idea journalists should show, not tell, and the facts speak for themselves as to the magnitude of how bad this is. But when you're inserting "raises questions" or whatever, it's downplaying reality to maintain a neutral tone
Write "the plan seems to be one the most brazenly corrupt Mr Trump has made so far" though, and you are being accurate but... also very much not neutral
