- Shipping criminal illegal aliens to GITMO is probably not going to work for a variety of legal and Constitutional reasons. Interesting idea, though.
- It's only been 5 days and I am already exhausted by Trump. The good (deportations of illegals immigrants with final deportation orders against them) and the bad (mass pardons of J6 rioters including violent thugs.) A lot of action. No discernment.
- So far, 308 illegal immigrants with final deportation orders issued against them have been detained. Supposedly they have also all been convicted of violent crimes. So they have committed crimes and they have had the process due and won't leave. So now they will be forced to. What is the problem?

- New Years Day used to mean headaches and feeling like crap. It still does,.. only now there is no alcohol the night before. Just the crippling ravages of my mid-40s.

- Jimmy Carter was not a good President. But by all accounts he was as decent and honorable a man as ever occupied the office. He gave his country and family everything he had. The world could do with more men like him. And in the end; that's more important than the first line of this post.

- As I age, I increasingly notice people become super famous, disappear, and make a comeback without me knowing they exist. I'll see their picture on a People Magazine "Where are they Now?" issue years later while standing in line to buy eggs and wonder "... who the hell is that?"
