- The MLA, @acls1919.bsky.social, and @historians.org filed a motion for a preliminary injunction to enjoin the unlawful dismantling of the NEH: "Congress believed NEH to be essential to the functioning of our democracy, and the public interest would be served by honoring that determination."
- If it is doing work you want it to do, please join your professional association (or renew your membership--it has probably lapsed). If it isn't doing all the work you want it to do, join it anyway and advocate for what you want.
- Funding the lawsuit for the NEH is important in this moment (please do help us out with that!), but joining or renewing your membership is crucial for the long haul.
