- Lordie. Just listened to 2 versions of Appalachian Spring, one conducted by Copland. Tried to work out why the other was so bad. With thoughts like these I'm never going to get a gig as a music critic 🤣 'Spring should be orgasmic, & Copland's version is close to premature, the other was bad edging.
