I’m only occasionally invited to premieres these days, and hey, it’s not something I’m entitled to, but when I do go to one, the amount of influencers who clearly don’t care about the movie at all and are there to be shamelessly performative and then ignore the movie or just leave is blatant.
- Reposted by Marc MooreThis is all accurate and important, and one thing I'd add is that work requirements are devastating for disabled folks who can't work (such as those on SSI) because it's incredibly difficult and complicated to get a work requirement exemption.
