- I’m 99% sure my cat knows what she’s doing when she jumps on my chest or stomach to get to the window near my bed. It’s punishment for being in bed and not feeding her no matter the time of day.
- It’s been so long since I’ve thought about or said “GIF” that I can’t even remember which side of the pronunciation debate I fall.
- I keep telling her this is going to ruin her eyes but she keeps coming back and insisting on being my editor. Got some stuff coming soon @oxide.computer, just waiting on her approval!
- Also "talking to" someone instead of "talking with" someone. I used to say "talking to" but made an effort to use "talking with" instead. "To," for me, implies the other person isn't part of the conversation. "With" means it's an inclusive "talking."
- Do any of you feel a sense of significance in calling your work team "my team" instead of "our team"? In my brain, "my team" implies ownership and participation, while "our team" implies partnership and participation in a cohesive whole. Something I considered in all the writing I've done lately.
