View full threadYes, the silly season has started again. The amount of properties snapped up during the pandemic & used as 2nd homes or rented holiday let, went thru the roof & so did the property prices. Local people priced out of their league to buy.
- Exactly that , second homes lived in a few weeks a year, AirB&B and holiday let’s empty for four or five months of the a year, school roles falling because young families priced out. Locals surrounded by short let’s driven out due to weeks of all night parties. Communities dying in slow motion.
