- I'm really ready to have the "first-aversary" Mother's Day without my mother over. All the "firsts" will have occurred by the end of July. - Thank you. I went through this with my father in 2011, and I don't mind folks reminding me. :) It does help to hear it from others. It's just weird to be an orphan, even at my age.
