- Poetry is challenging. Although I wrote poetry in grade school, I haven't read many #poetry books. Partly due to not finding ones that called to me, unlike #QUEER #NATURE here, edited by Michael Walsh. I can lose the meter in many poems, but this anthology is great practice. 56% complete! 📚💙
- I still wear a mask in most public places. I am currently the only one wearing a mask in a light rail car full of ~45+ people. I care about my communities, and I wear a mask to protect them. It's so startling how quickly the majority of the public just tossed all these protective measures. 😷😷😷

- I made some magic today that is blowing my mind. ✨🤯✨ I reworked some #PacificMadrone bark syrup, and what was left at the bottom of the pot while cooling in the sink seems to have crystallized into a beautiful labyrinthian pattern with some concentric circles mixed in. #arme
- I dried out a Wood Blewit #mushroom, Collybia nuda, and noticed this vibrant blue coloring on the stipe. Other specimens collected from the same area, and dried the same way, don't have this bluing occurring. How fascinating and beautiful!
