- I tell my students this when they tell me about using AI. If you're using AI to do a thing, soon no one will get paid to do that thing. Also, I tell them that AI is hella stupid and they're much smarter and much more creative than AI.

I don't think of AI as good or bad, it depends on how it's used. Fire can be used to keep us warm and safe, or to kill people. I understand concern over the people leading AI and their motivations, but there are applications of the tech that can be used to improve our lives. - Very true. “If I build a man a fire, I keep him warm for a night. - Artificial intelligence is great for archaeology, diagnostics support, weather, and a few other things. For the rest, there’s a lot of *human* intelligence that could be put to better use.
- Millions of kids rely on the free and reduced-price lunches they get at school every day—and when school goes on break, they go hungry. I introduced a new bill to fix this by expanding Summer EBT to cover school breaks. In the richest country on earth, NO kid should go hungry.
