- @ianjames.bsky.social Thanks for great article about construction of the San Jacinto Tunnel built by the MWD. My father was a surveyor for them before WWII, about 1936-1941. He told me about placement of them, and walking inside them — so big! I’m buying a copy and of “A Water Odyssey” to learn more
- Reposted by BobAs a Columbia alumnus (MA, MPhil, PhD), it’s hard right now to recommend the school to immigrants, with ambitions of academic freedoms and Nobel Prizes — graduates and faculty have won 88 of them — given it cares more about appeasing the Government than about academic integrity.
