- Guess who headlined in their congregation’s Easter Sunday program for the second year in a row? That’s right: Korihor.
- By far my favorite popular culture development of 2025 has been the resurrection of the song “Someone to Call My Lover” by Janet Jackson, which has been one of my very favorite songs since I was a little boy. SO glad that people are remembering it now😭
- MEN ARE TRASH but this weekend I am hosting a movie party and I am very excited about this. I will be inflicting another Almodóvar movie on my IRL friends. V excited to socialize again
- Respiratory therapists are, without question, some of the greatest unsung heroes of the healthcare industry. God bless all of the respiratory therapists in this world
- I wonder if a reason our present political moment feels so wild right now is because we’re experiencing the Limousine Liberals—the ultra-wealthy Blue-staters who manage much of our legacy media & have long been part of the Democratic Party Establishment—flee to the Republican Party.
- Hey folks—a bit ago, after many hospital trips & bouts of pneumonia, I was diagnosed with atypical cystic fibrosis I’ve made progress but the overall cost of care is staggering—& I’ve had to fight my insurance to cover the daily medication I need to stay OUT of the hospital😭
- Mormon history is basically just a story about how if you run from the feds long enough, you eventually turn into the feds
- I think one of the more exasperating parts about gay culture is that I’ve learned that a lot of times when men go to the gym it is so they can avoid going to therapy
- It’s wild how much I have taken social media & the ease of connectedness on here for granted. Like, I actually do think we might begin to see a world again where the Internet as we know it is gone & where social media is gone— my gosh! All the invaluable digital social connections! That’d be AWFUL
- People watch “Taxi Driver” and “Fight Club” when they should actually be watching “Punch-Drunk Love”
- My ward discovered projection equipment in our chapel a while back, & yesterday I walked into a debate going on at FHE about what movie to watch first for a ward activity, & it was down to “Rear Window” or “What’s Up, Doc?”—& I wanna state for the record that my ward is the Best Ward in the Church
- My favorite thing in the universe is when the Salt Lake Tribune shows up. Especially after they’ve been quiet for a while. It’s like watching the cavalry come running in to save us all
- HOLY SHIZ YOU GUYS PEGGY’S STORY FOR THE TRIB TOMORROW
