- media dogpiling aside, nobody in good conscience wouldve allowed biden to debate given his state we now know that he couldnt even recognize long time friends as of last june without a full accounting of what happened, we are left with 'lady Macbeth' hit pieces blaming the whole thing on jill biden
- b/c the staffers, advisors, and consultants who shielded bidens decline from the world-- and from biden himself-- should be named and shamed, so that others in the party may think twice before seeking their counsel
- I think this is true but if these anonymous strategists had gone public with their concerns (which the vast majority of Americans already shared) much earlier (the midterms, the Hur report, joining Ezra Klein) I do believe they could have prevented it, so it wasn't just an individual failure
