- been wondering why my watch will occasionally not charge over night. Phone dinged and I reached up to the headboard where it and my watch are and instead of empty space, I was met with...cat. There's that mystery solved.

- So hey, we knew the right wing was going after the abortion pill but I'm realllllllll curious about their new "studies" on insurance data: eppc.org/stop-harming... They don't appear to have done any controlling for other uses of mifepristone, which include inducing labor, Cushing's, or others.
- So, this story is rightly horrifying because they are essentially commandeering this woman's body to be a baby incubator against her and her family's wishes. The horror - to be clear - is not that the child might be born with disabilities.

- So I'm thinking again about how the Christian conservatives have turned against "empathy" as a thing and coded it as feminine - arguing that women in the church are most at risk for falling for "dangerous and deadly" empathy. Of course women are "at risk" but not because of some biological essence.
