- It is a truth universally acknowledged that a corrupt man in possession of a high office must be in want of a jet.
- Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name... www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...
- Trump ran on protecting Social Security, Medicare, and even Medicaid. He moved away from the national ban on abortion promised in GOP platforms since 1980. These were not plays to the base and not what prior Republicans like Bush and Ryan said.

- As far as I can see, no story on Trump's Qatari plane on Fox. Some things are hard to spin.
- On X MTG said she could've won but won't run because the Senate is bad. One claim: "McConnell isn’t Senate Leader anymore, but he chairs the powerful Rules Committee and still controls what makes it to the floor." - Judge Jeanine actually was a District Attorney, but probably would consider this a demotion from Fox personality.
- This is not quite right. While Trump's tariffs are being challenged in court, executive agreements with other countries -not approved by the Senate- are nothing new. Obama's Iran deal was called a "political commitment", not even an executive agreement.

- Schumer's path to the Senate leadership was building relationships while being a successful and appreciated Democratic Campaign Committee Chair in two successive cycles.
