- I hope you're all ready... on the day it happens, the party is going to last at least a MONTH. And we're going to laugh in the face of anyone that says "Hey that's not nice"
- Hello! It is my birthday today! If you would like to do something nice for me, please join my Patreon where you can get a closer look at my entire creative life! (And we have a book club!) patreon.com/chrisgraceco...
- hmm i wonder what kind of board game i could design to pay tribute to this TV show
- sheesh Clark
- I honestly can’t wait until something replaces Discord. Maybe a mobile front end to phpBB?
- ICYMI here’s me on the TV this AM www.koin.com/entertainmen...
- Who sucks more Gavin Newsom or Keir Starmer?
- one day I'm going to attend a red carpet wearing this
- Why in Bible times are so many people getting chunks of wood in their eyes
- from a listing i'm browsing: "ito Rainbow" is a coop game that allows you to arrange your number cards in a small order. When comparing the parables of everyone, would you be able to get your opponent's intention? This is a fun party game that is unconvinced and unconvinced.
- The Giant Bomb news is genuinely heartwarming!
- Artist in repose
- people are weird about age on camera. Bella Ramsey looks too young to play 19-year-old, even though they are... 21 years old? People that are 21 can often look younger. One example is... Bella Ramsey
- @rossbryant.bsky.social and I are doing two improv shows on May 26 at Kickstand in Portland. Come on by!
- @snell.zone catching up on MacBreak Weekly... do you have a video showing how the Insta tripod and thew Neewer go together? I'm looking at them on Amazon and can't visualize it (also the Neewer comes with a phone holder but I don't see where the handle "flips up")
- The 5 best performances I've seen on Broadway: * Mark Rylance in La Bête * Kara Young in Purlie! * Elaine Stritch in A Delicate Balance * Cole Escola in Oh, Mary! * Stephen Dillane in The Real Thing TBH it could have been five Rylances (add Jerusalem, Boeing Boeing, Richard III, Twelfth Night).
- why do I instinctually feel it's bad that the Pope is American
- Prepping CHRIS GRACE: AS SCARLETT JOHANSSON at Portland Center Stage... previews start May 11, and I've been reviewing the @dropout.tv version to look for nuances I may want to restore, and I'm so proud of it. Also amazing to see all of the supplemental cast are people I call friends now.
- if you haven't watched CHRIS GRACE: AS SCARLETT JOHANSSON on @dropout.tv yet, let these recent Letterbox'd reviews persuade you!
- Board games, two games of Clocktower, new friends, old friends, a brilliant FLGS (Guardian Games) and a game of 31 with @theaterbear.com. A perfect day.
- When you play Clocktower with strangers you establish histories that you can connect with a year later. “Sorry where did we meet?” “I was the Washerwoman that saw you as Sage but you were actually the Spy” “Oh but you were pithagged into Drunk and got Fang Gu jumped and then we won together!”
- there is at least one genuine solution to finding friends as an adult with genuine connectivity that is both lightweight AND meaningful, and that's playing Blood on the Clocktower. I have at least 10 new friends in my life from 18 months ago and another 30-50 friendly acquaintances
- I will let y'all finish, but Helen Shen was incredible in Maybe Happy Ending
- NBA playoff ratings are up 13% from last year, so I guess they stopped letting players do gather steps and travels and they made sure the league wasn't woke anymore in between the regular season and now
- The Op, a board game company, is owned by a Trump voter, and they are being hurt by the tariffs, but he still thinks Kamala is anti-business. Some games The Op publishes: Flip 7 Marvel Dice Throne The A.R.T. Project Gnome Hollow Aqua 10 Days in the USA Hues & Cues Tacta Telestrations Blank Slate
- TOMORROW STANDOUTS (standup with your pals) THE ELYSIAN VAULT www.elysiantheater.com/shows/stando...
- fun fact, Jesse Green co-wrote Mary Rodgers' autobiography He also picked "Once Upon a Mattress" to be nominated for Best Revival and snubbed "Sunset Boulevard" in all categories I'm sure these are unrelated
- I have purchased my single poster for this year's Fringe!
- Happy Logon at Noon to Throw Money at a Monopoly Day
- I had a great time at Final 3 Con this weekend and in case you’re curious, the second most popular game of the event by far was The Gang. Tonight in the lobby there were five separate sessions of it running simultaneously.
- new Shem Phillips game: Sluts of the East Village
- you'd be surprised how many files on my computer are called aosijd.doc
- If you've been keeping an eye on Arydia, there are 4 copies in stock at Far Off. faroffgames.com/products/car...
- hello order is not always pleasing do not image search "katydid eggs"
- Lots of good answers here and things to consider. But also, I think there's an opportunity here for designers! A game with drafting, point salad, maybe resources and tableaus but also plays under 60m and has fun banter / screwage? (maybe it's just Catan and that's why it was a hit?)
- A lot of more hardcore board gamers want something heavier for content like Parlor Room... what do you think is the most "watchable" Eurogame? Keep in mind this is coming from someone who thought Flamecraft was kind of heavy lol
- i swear there's a big venn overlap with trumpers and "that's a travel and that's why no one watches the NBA anymore"
