- Autistic Lexicon Hyper & Hypo Senses Autistic ppl are significantly predisposed to have senses (or “subsenses”) that are significantly more or less sensitive than is typical. This is the only diagnosable-Autistic-trait-category that isn’t dismissible as behavioral.
- It took me a bit to put all the pieces together … but it was worth the trip to get there:

- An Autistic person walks into a bar & says “Oof! ow!” A 2nd Autistic person says, “Why did you walk into a bar?” The 1st Autistic Person says “I thought the Narrator meant a drinking establishment per the joke format … It wasn’t until after I walked into the bar that I realized they meant a pole”
